As I was coming back along Wood Lane, I heard a little dunnock singing and I saw something flit into Miller's field and lo and behold, he was sitting on the fence post singing. I got a better pic of him singing in which his beak is open much wider but there is a bit of shadow on him as he has his back slightly turned so I thought I would post this one instead.
I had a meeting with my colleague who I am line manager too and thought I would discuss with her having some of my hours as I planned to give up work (due to frustration with my management). Wendy has lost 5 hours work in a village in Central Beds so I thought she would welcome extra hours. However, she has managed to talk me round to staying on as she said that I have too much knowledge and experience to leave and it wouldn't be the same without me. It is nice to know that someone values what I do so I think that I am going to ask to drop some hours when a couple of my Good Neighbour Groups get up and running and suggest that I work from home so that I don't get involved with office politics and all the frustrations that it entails. If I don't have to see my Team Leader, it will be out of sight and out of mind! And she won't be able to keep coming over asking me to do her job for her! She's just so lazy. All the other Village Agents work from home so there shouldn't be any objection.
I had a good night at Camera Club last night and got a 16 and 18/20 for the 2 images I submitted. The theme was Coast and the one that got 18 was a shot of Eastbourne Pier which I had been pleased with as the sky was perfect - blue with puffy clouds, the pier was very sharp and there were waves on the shore.
Thanks for all your kind comments & Favs. It is really much appreciated.
