Poppy

I know this is not a red poppy which is usually linked to remembrance but this is dedicated to those people who lost their lives or were injured in yesterday's atrocities. It can only be described as murderous rage and is a terrible blot on this world's face and I can only say that I am thoroughly disgusted that man can murder in cold blood other human beings like what happened in France, Tunisia and Kuwait. We must never give in to these terrible people and I hope they get the culprits and punish them as seriously as the fate that beheld those poor people. I mustn't say any more because I am getting myself so angry just thinking about it. My brother lives between Lyon & Dijon so when I heard the news I was particularly anxious about his welfare but having looked at the map realise that he is 64 miles from Lyon so is safe.

This is lovely and I can only share the sentiment wholeheartedly - been to Tunisia many times - it is a beautiful country with lovely people. No one deserves this. Fav.

A lovely purple poppy and a heartfelt tribute. Man's inhumanity to man just never ceases to amaze me - I'll never understand it as long as I live.

Beautiful shot and I agree with your sentiments exactly. My children and I were on the receiving end of a terrorist attack while living overseas 30 years ago and they never caught the culprits. I hope the terrorists lives have been a lot worse since their shameful act.
