This is one of the baby robins who was really enjoying a bath but as you can probably see, the birdbath was nearly empty. I think the birds must be bathing a lot at the moment because I fill the birdbaths up every day but they get through an awful lot of water and I suspect that they don't drink all that much. It was a job to know which one to post as I've got some shots with all the water splashes on them but due to the movement of the bird shaking its wings, the bird looks out of focus so I chose this one. Best on black if you have the time.

So much sharper on black, but then everything is I think! What an adorable baby robin and certainly he was loving his bath!!! Love the details and the expression on it's face!! FAV!
Wonderful on black - love the details on the young robin's face. I've noticed the same thing about the bird bath here - they're emptying it out as fast as I fill it.
