It is a really cold horrible grey day today but I went along Wood Lane for a walk and saw this little fellow so he brightened up the day. I have put a blue vignette on to improve his background which is just white with cloud. There were black clouds looming though and I thought it might rain but fortunately for me it didn't.
Despite the weather there are plenty of birds around eating the berries and other fruits so they have plenty to eat. I shall post a shot of some corn buntings in my Bits & Bobs album as there was a small flock of them (about 12 - 15) flitting about.
