Well he wasn't actually singing and it wasn't the dead of night when I took this but whenever I see a blackbird, I always think of the song by the Beatles. This one was sitting by the fence and looking over at me when I walked down the garden to go for a quick walk along Wood Lane.
I've been busy today at work and I'm shocked at how awful the energy companies are in this country - Scottish Power in particular! I was asked to look through a year's energy bills to see why this person was being charged so much for his energy and to be honest I couldn't make head nor tail of the bills and I don't think that I'm thick! None of it made any sense but because they were told that they owed over £900, they had paid £700 as they were worried that they would be cut off with the winter coming on. It was cold in their house so I think they are frightened to put their heating on which is scandelous as his wife is disabled. While I was there another of my clients rang my mobile to tell me that she had received a letter from the same energy company saying that they were going to increase her monthly payments to £97 per month and she lives in a terraced 1 bedroomed bungalow and is also disabled plus she is 89! I am going to visit her on Thursday. Scottish Power seem to live up to the stereotype of being Scottish - tight! It is the third time in as many weeks that I have had a problem with Scottish Power. How they can sleep in their beds, I do not know!
Anyway, rant over and thank you for getting yesterday's robin on PP. It really is much appreciated.
Super capture. Fav!! 😃. We found Scottish Power were extortionate in their charges, and changed to a small energy company who even give interest on excess payment. It took 9months for us to get back overpayment from S P.
