I saw this hawk last week being carried down the road when I was out visiting and regretted not stopping to ask whether I could take a photo. Anyway, today I saw it again and thought I'm not going to miss this opportunity today so I stopped the car and asked his handler whether I could take his photo and he readily agreed. They were walking along the road near Herrings Green Farm which is in Wilstead (one of my villages that I cover) and it is a bird of prey centre that I have paid for a photographic session there when it first opened. It is a bonus not having to pay to photograph him.
