This little robin kept flitting round me while I was moving yet more of the compost heap. I have filled no end of tubs ready for planting my tomatoes and runner beans so hopefully we should have a good crop. The potatoes are in the cupboard sprouting but with the weather so changeable I'm not sure when I shall be planting them and it is a bit early yet. We have had rain and hail today and the wind would cut you in half so I haven't strayed very far.
I did pop up to RSPB this afternoon because I wanted to buy another feeder and a new saucer thing to fit underneath because after bringing all my feeders in to clean them, the metal saucer is very rusty. I've now got a brand new plastic one! At least that won't get rusty.
I am meeting one of my friends who I used to work with at Papworth tonight. It's ages since I saw her and hubby so we are going to have a Chinese together which will be nice.
Thanks for getting Bas & Steve on PP yesterday and the daffodil. You really are very kind and also for the nice comments on my website.
A pretty dainty bird, lovely composition.
