Diving

I am having rather a quiet day with very few birds in the garden so this is a filler. I decided to go through some of the photos on my laptop and came across this one of the kingfisher diving. I think it's a female as she has red on the bottom part of her beak.

I went into town this morning to try to get some sandals with velcro fastening over the toes as well as the ankle but I haven't had much success although I did buy a pair but after trying them on again at home, I don't think they are right for me. My foot is really swollen after walking round several shops and it's painful so I thought I would sit down and do very little this afternoon.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.

Brilliant fav, do hope your foot settles, I can empathize as mine aren't good at the moment. I'm debating on biting the bullet and having a very long recovery ankle replacement😞.

Beautiful action captured! I have Reiker walking sandals Rosie which have velcro over the toes as well as ankle. We went to Factory shop at Market Harborough and I got 2 pairs. Look them up on line to see what they have. Pricy but last s long time .

Gorgeous shot. Take it easy. It took a long time for the swelling to go down after my ankle surgery I still have one foot slightly fatter than the other, but not painful or swollen any more.
