We are safely home from our wonderful trip to Chicago where we were made so welcome once again by Taffy and Jim. Andie was kind enough to take us to do some light trails and to Garfield Park Conservatory. It was also nice to see Junko once again. Despite having glitches with my equipment, I managed to take a lot of nice photos which I will spend ages looking through them and no doubt you will get to see some of them. /this one was taken showing the wing of our plane in the front of the image. I was surprised that I could take photos in the airport as it is not allowed in UK.
Having been up all night in the air and trying to acclimatise myself to Greenwich Meantime, I will be rather quiet for a while as I don't intend going to bed until tonight to get back into the swing of things. I am feeling very tired but must now give Steve a bit of my attention.
Thank you for your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
Interesting perspective you must have been on boarding steps, always lots of action and movement at an airport all beautifully capture in this image Rosie:)
I love the feeling of organized chaos in this shot! A big fav from me. It was great to meet up with you and Pam again, and what a surprise that we had a rather vague connection through the village of Ashwell!
Welcome home!! I really like this capture as it captures so much of the airport activity, from plane coming in to those near the gates. And those rows of clouds are brilliant backdrops to the scene. Looking forward to many more Chicago shots from you!
@taffy When I have things under control here at home, I will have a chance to look through all the photos I took. The clouds were brilliant at the airport
Lovely capture of the planes with that great sky as a backdrop! It was such a tiring journey wasn't it! It's going to take a few days for me to get all my pics on my laptop. Fav!
