What a morning! I saw both kingfishers flying very close to me as they went up the stream and they were shouting at each other. I think they were having a domestic! Anyway, within a few minutes they both decided to fly onto their favourite perch and although I couldn't see them from where I was, I was lucky enough to get several shots of them both together. I was ecstatic!
I have found that the best time to go down there is early in the morning - well not so early for some people such as Sarah @pixiemac but early for me. There is usually some activity from 9 until 10.30 and then a lull so I am glad I had got set up by 9.15.
