This is Robbie my very great friend in the garden. Today I was delighted with his response to me. I spoke to him when he flew onto a nearby branch of the lilac tree and he tweeted back to me as if we were having a great conversation. Then I asked him if he would like to sing to me and lo and behold he did! I couldn't believe my luck and he's such a lovely little bird. When I was tidying up around the front door, he came down to get the grubs that I had uncovered when I moved the plant pots. It was so lovely to be able to reward him for being my friend.
