The size difference between these two birds

I thought it would be interesting for you to see the difference in size between the redpoll (left) and the female chaffinch. The redpoll although a member of the finch family is much smaller.

I have had problems with my laptop today as it wouldn't let me log on to open it up. Goodness knows what has been going on because suddenly after many attempts, it let me do it. Technology is very frustrating at times.

Yes the redpoll is a much more refined bird, we think of chafinches as quite neat & small but he looks massive compared to the smaller one.
