Scruffy starling by rosiekind

Scruffy starling

I've not been very inspired today so this is a quick shot through the kitchen window. We have been busy in the garden. I have planted my tomatoes in the greenhouse and have planted runner beans - all of which I grew in the conservatory from seed. We have a big garden and it takes a lot of looking after. I love gardening but sometimes it can seem a bit daunting getting everything done at the right time for vegetables to grow and produce lovely tasting food.

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and for getting yesterday's wheatear on PP. It is always much appreciated.
Excellent shot and great details.

They are scruffy at times - perhaps they can make their feathers stand up - to look bigger to a marauding bird!
