I actually took this one in the garden rather than through the kitchen window. The young blackbird didn't seem too bothered by my presence so has probably been watching Robbie and thinks that I must be safe if Robbie sits on my hand!
Robbie has had to shoo off 2 intruders to his patch today. A pair thought they might like to join in the hand feeding but Robbie wasn't having any of it and he soon saw them off. He was quite hungry and ate lots of suet pellets. He even came to look through the kitchen window to see whether I was coming out. What a dear little fellow he is.
