i went up to RSPB this afternoon for a bit of escapism! Although not a bright particularly warm day, it was lovely just to experience the peace and tranquility. I ventured into the hid but saw less birds there than I do at home so I decided to walk up to the gardens and have a look at the goslings to see how they have grown and it's amazing how quickly they grow.
On the way back, I heard a pheasant and it sounded as though it might be by the pond outside the hide so I quickly walked in took a few shots of him and went on my way. I thought he looked particularly striking today.
