We didn't see the great spotted woodpecker up at RSPB this morning when I went with my very good friend Pam @pamknowler. Just after Pam left my house to go home, Woodie appeared on my feeder. I don't know why I go up to RSPB when I can see so many birds in my own back garden. However, it's nice to go and have a walk up there.

Thanks for this Rosie!! This is the story of my life!! Sadly we did not see the cedar wax wing this morning and the fieldfares were too far for a good capture!! Never mind what we did see at the RSPB were all wonderful and until my drama queen nose bleed everything was fine!! What a shame I missed Woody - please have a word with him for my next visit!! LOL!!
