When the sun shines on these birds, it shows all the colours in their glossy feathers. They have been busy eating the suet balls, block and seed today. I'm not surprised as it's really cold again.
I have had rather a wasted day today as I tried to make an appointment at a building society in St Neots this morning and returned this afternoon. However, there was a power cut in St Neots and so they couldn't accommodate me. I then made an appointment for Monday afternoon when they phoned to rearrange and then realised when I went to put it in my diary that I have a dental appointment then so I've left a message on their answer phone. What a lot of frustration! I could have been out taking photos.
