At last I am beginning to feel better but still coughing! Anyway, I was so excited to see Robbie in the garden with Mrs Robbie! He brought her to show her the feeders and how nice it would be to bring their family up in my garden. Next thing I knew, he was showing her the nest box on the side of the garage and she went in and out a few times inspecting it and I think she approves! So I then put out the nesting wool so that they wouldn't have to go too far to find some cosy nesting material. I am finding it so exciting! Perhaps some people may think that I need to get out more but seeing the start of a new family always thrills me. I stood and talked to Robbie and he came down to eat some meal worms but took them from the ground rather than my hand. No doubt when they youngsters arrive, he will start feeding from my hand again!
Anyway, I didn't want to put them off by pointing my camera at them because Mrs Robbie may not be as tame as Robbie so I took this photo of the goldfinch from inside the kitchen instead.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated. I nearly forgot to say a huge thank you for getting Robbie on TT at No. 12. That was pretty exciting too!
