I went down the brook this morning and stood behind a tree having got permission from Hide Man to be there so long as I wasn't seen! Anyway, after spending 2 hours there, Bluey perched on a bullrush and a branch that Hide Man has placed in the brook but not the one that I was focused on so I gave up and went home. This afternoon I decided to go to RSPB because it looked like rain and fortunately I left before it started as I had to drop a library book in. Anyway, I saw this grey lagged goose as well as a few of his friends. I think he was showing off and letting the females know what a wonderful fellow he was.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
@pamknowler I received an email from Natural England saying that they had been contacted to say that another licence holder for the same area and revised condition of the licence states that I have to liaise with Hide man so that the birds are not disturbed- bloody cheek! I discovered these birds more than a year before him and I live in the village whereas he doesn’t
