I saw this lovely swallow sitting on a telegraph wire in Wood Lane and he was very obliging and gave me the opportunity to take lots of shots of him. I took my 70-200mm 2.8 lens out as I don't ever seem to use it so I was quite pleased to get this shot. The trouble is the lens is so heavy and I can't help thinking that it's much better using my 300mm prime which is light and compact.
