Poor little blackbird by rosiekind

Poor little blackbird

I think there must be something wrong with this poor little blackbird. We managed to get within about 4 foot from him to give him some food and he did eat s sultana but then he moved a short way away. He then got in the shade under the flowers growing outside the conservatory so we gave him a saucer of water in case he was thirsty but he has just sat there panting. I think the heat may have got to him. Poor little fellow. There's not really anything we can do for him and I think if I drove him all the way to Dunstable to the rescue place, he would die before I got there so we have just had to leave him. I hate it when birds get poorly.

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
Great capture but sad story

Kind by name and kind by nature❤. What a wonderfully caring person you are. The bird looks to be quite young and it could be that the heat has just been too much for him. Fingers crossed he picks up when it gets cooler.

So upsetting , and he can not tell you how sick he is , perhaps as the sun goes down and he tries to drink a little water , he will recover ! ( in hope !) Fav

@bkbinthecity @joysabin @ludwigsdiana @photographycrazy @ilovelenses @beryl Sadly he has passed away but I have buried him in the garden. It’s such a shame and it makes me sad that he didn’t have very lOMG on this earth but at least he didn’t get caught by a cat
