RK3_2314 One of the red legged partridges

On Friday when I went up to RSPB there were 3 red legged partridges but today there were 4! They certainly get about. I thought I would go for a walk before it rained and I took the Woodpecker Trail for a change not really knowing where it would lead me. I was hoping that it wouldn't involve a walk up a steep hill as I get very breathless if it's steep. I need a new heart valve but I want to hang on as I would prefer a pig valve to a mechanical one as I wouldn't have to take warfarin.

Anyway, it did involve climbing up a steep hill that was broken down into steps at the end. I always say that there's no such word as can't and reminded myself of that fact. I just stopped a few times to catch my breath and made it to the top!

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and for getting Squizzer on PP yesterday. It is always much appreciated.

@stevepam I use Nikon D500 with a 300mm prime lens plus 1.4 extender that gives me 420mm. It's a lovely camera and lens and I love it.
