For VE Day by rosiekind

For VE Day

Sorry that this is a bit skewiffy but this was a last minute thing I made to celebrate VE Day. Because of lockdown, we don't know what day it is and we had forgotten to buy any bunting so this was a second rate thing to put in the garden. However, we are proud to say that Guy Gibson lived in our house. He rented the house for a short period when he was training pilots at Cranfield (a nearby airfield). I think this was after the Dambusters Raid. We also have a wooden case belonging to Wing Commander Wass as well. I don't know much about him so one day I shall have to do a bit of digging into the history of it all.

Anyway, I hope you have managed to celebrate in some way today. We eventually managed to get some car England Flags that we have hung up but I do regret not getting bunting, etc. earlier.

Thank you for all your kind comments and Favs and for getting yesterday's photo of Squizzer on PP. It is always much appreciated.
Wow how interesting Rosie, nice to see your flying the flag so to speak to commemorate VE Days 75th anniversary:)
