This is Betsey who has a nest in the ivy at the front of our house. She's been a very busy mother as this is the second brood of blackbirds that have been raised there this year. Both her and Bobbie are very clever birds as they know where the bird food is stored and I was amazed when Bobbie landed on the store cupboard and looked through the kitchen window at me. He was trying to attract my attention so that I would open up the "Cafe" and give him some suet pellets. Of course I had to oblige! They both come and wait to be fed. I am pretty sure that had I had a stool to sit on so that I didn't have to bend down, Bobbie would have come to eat out of my hand. I think he's been watching Robbie!
