I went for a walk along Wood Lane this morning hoping that I would see the stonechats past Hill Farm but alas, they were nowhere to be seen. Anyway, the sun was shining although there is a very cold wind so it was nice to just get out. I photographed this bird, not being able to tell what it was until I uploaded it to my laptop. So I wasn't disappointed in the end.
