I haven't been at home much today and this is a quick shot through the kitchen window. This morning I went to see some friends in St Neots and when we got back, we had about half an hour's notice about another friend in the village who sadly died of a rare disease and it was his funeral. It was a lovely funeral and Pete had written all about his life to be read out at the funeral as he knew that he was dying. He had some lovely songs played too - "Man of the World" by Justin Hayward, "Behind blue eyes" by Pete Townsend and the exit song was "Won't get fooled again" by the Who. They were all so appropriate and he loved rock music and loved to watch Steve's band playing in our local pub. It was a chance to catch up with old friends.
Thank you for getting yesterday's magpie and crows on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always very much appreciated.
