I can't believe it's February already. Where has the time gone?!! They say that time goes faster as you get older and I think that's very true.
Anyway, I decided to have a walk along Wood Lane. It was a really cold wind so I didn't go very far but I was pleased to see this fieldfare. I heard it before I saw it and they have a very distinctive voice. It was unusual to see it all on it's own as I usually see a small flock of them. He/she was making their usual noise and I wondered whether he had lost his mates. He was still in the same place when I walked back.
