He kept perching on and off the fence posts and his wife stayed well camourflaged in the brambles so I didn't get a decent shot of her. Every time I pointed my camera at him, he seemed to have other ideas and flew off onto another post so it's a shame I had to post a shot of him looking over his shoulder but I was glad to see him so it was worth the walk.
@happypat It's about the same size as a robin. I've always had a great interest in birds as my Grandpa got me interested as a little girl when I used to watch his bird table in the garden after he had put the food out. I wasn't tall enough to reach it! That's how long I've been interested. LOL
