I saw the reed buntings over the field opposite RSPB in the same place as I had seen them 2 weeks earlier. I think it must be their regular haunt. It was really cold and my fingers were frozen despite 2 pairs of gloves but I did put my sheepskin boots on so my feet were not as cold as when I went up there last week. The poor birds must be frozen. It's a shame we can't bring them in and warm them up!
Great shot, Rosie, that looks a little plumper than the one I have posted today. I have also posted a Blue Tit as well today. What is it they say about great minds ? Lol.
