It was very cold in the hide at RSPB this morning and I decided that I couldn't wait for the nuthatch to appear and I had heard him calling. I said to people in the hide, he will appear the minute I leave but unbeknown to me, I had already got this shot so I'm glad I didn't hang about any longer! I don't have nuthatches visiting my garden and the only place I see them is up at RSPB. I so wish they would visit my garden and I don't know how I could tempt them because they obviously don't live in my village which is 4 or 5 miles away.
