Mr Blue Tit has been onto the nesting box again before flying off to the ivy where Mrs Blue Tit was waiting and they have been pecking away at something - perhaps ivy berries or grubs (I'm not sure which). I am pleased that he keeps looking at the box. Last year the bird went inside and you could hear him tapping the box to make sure that it was sound. They are such sensible little birds and deserve a nice warm box to nest in. Steve still hasn't put up the other 2 boxes but I am going to make sure he does so in the next few days as the birds all seem to be pairing up and they will need plenty of places to nest as we have a lot of visitors to the garden. They have everything they need, food, water and a ready made home.
