I willed this little fellow to show me all his body as he is a very handsome bird but he just wouldn't come round to the front of the feeder. Never mind, perhaps another day. He is eating sunflower hearts that have spilled previously and as I am fast running out of hearts, I put suet pellets in the feeder instead. The 20kg sack of hearts has lasted just 6 weeks. Well it has been rather awful weather and the birds needed to fill their little tums to keep warm.
