Fetching his stick by rosiekind

Fetching his stick

I stopped off at Priory on the way to do the food shop and I saw this little dog. I got talking to the lady who was with him and she told me that this little dog's name is Sammy and she walks her 3 times a week.

On the way home from Sainsbury's, a blue quad bike weaved in and out of the traffic really quickly and nearly hit my car. He then proceeded to go straight through a red light! I was absolutely amazed that this idiot could do such a thing. Anyway, I didn't know which way he went but further along the road, I saw him weaving about dangerously again and he then nearly came off the bike as he tried turning right at a mini roundabout. He sped off down the road and so I drove to the Barns Hotel, pulled in and phoned 999 to call the Police. Apparently 3 other people had called the Police and they had traffic out looking for him. I hope they got him before he killed someone! Then lo and behold, I was flashed by a driver indicating that there was trouble ahead. As I got nearer I could see that the traffic was turning round, so I did the same and drove round the villages on Cardington and Cople to avoid whatever was blocking the road. I wasn't sure whether the Cople turn would be open for me to drive home but as luck would have it, the Policewoman waved me past. I don't know what had happened but there was a Fire Engine as well as Police there. Maybe it was the idiot on the quad bike who had smacked into a lorry. It would have served him right.
Firstly, a fabulous shot of Sammy. He looks every bit the happy dog. Sorry to hear about your experience afterwards, that seems to be a case of road rage to me. As long as you got home safely ;-)

well captured of Sammy. I hope the driver of that quad bike was found and suitably apprehended. It is incredulous that these people can be so irresponsible - but then again I wouldn't be surprised if drugs were involved.
