This one was taken in my garden after I got home. There are 5 great tit babies that are coming to my feeders outside the kitchen window and this is one of them. I nearly forgot to tell you the good news - Robbie is back!!!! I was so excited when I went outside and he flew to meet me as I came out of the back door. I tested him out to check it was really him by holding my hand out and he hovered over it but realised that it didn't contain any suet pellets but he followed me to the food store (Bird's Café) and sat on the edge while I got some suet pellets out. He flew down and must have been hungry because he ate 2 pellets straight away and didn't fly off with any which is unusual. I do hope he sticks around and I can't help wondering whether he has been shut in somewhere - possibly a shed?
Wonderful news Rosie, I am so happy for you (and us). Maybe he was locked in somewhere. The way you spoil him, he will definitely be back. A wonderful capture of the baby Tit, fav!
