Perhaps this was a premonition of what was to come! Amazon delivered a package to me this morning which I opened without thinking and unbeknown to me, it was not my parcel. It should have been delivered to someone in the next village with a completely different address! Anyway, I took it along to her and apologised for opening it and that was fine. Then I received an email to say that my package had been "handed to the resident". Well that certainly wasn't me! I phoned them up and after much deliberation, the customer service chap said that my parcel had been signed out although the delivery driver was in my area and it would be delivered so I wait with baited breath!
Funny to see your title. Am reading a book by Ruth Ware right now where she refers to the poem about magpies quite a bit. I’d never heard it. Nice capture!
