Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink

I took this yesterday when I had to go to Bedford and I thought I would have a look at the floods down the embankment. You can't actually see the edge of the river that has burst it's banks. The swans, geese, ducks and gulls appreciated it though and there were people feeding them so they were even more happy!

The tranquility of this is definitely deceiving only the light pole and bench in the middle give it away. Hope that the river goes back down soon.
