I was excited this morning to see not only Mr Woodie but Mrs came into the garden too. He has been drilling a lot lately so it must have paid off because he now has a mate! I hope we get little baby woodpeckers in the garden again. I managed to get a shot of 2 youngsters either side of the fat balls a few years ago. I must dig out that shot as I used to have it as a screen saver on my work computer!
