The chancel and high altar

Croydon Minster originates from Saxon times. It was extensively rebuilt in the 1860s by the architect George Gilbert Scott after it was nearly destroyed in a fire. It is of historical significance, too, as six Archbishops of Canterbury were buried here.
Lovely capture of this beautiful place!
