It’s been a nice warm day, so Eddie ran in when I came in from work and lay on the rug to cool down. She likes to roll in the dirt when the weather is good, and her shoulders and paws look grey all summer. Only the white fur under her eyes remains pristine, although it glows like war paint. She didn’t stay long because she knew she’d be called in for dinner, but it’s always nice of her to pay a visit.
