... of the work of fashion designer Mary Quant (b.1934) at the V&A Museum. Her designs for miniskirts, hot pants, tights and make up had a huge influence on the British high street, and helped create 'Swinging London' in the 1960s.

Thank you for reminding me of my both good and fun years in Washington DC.
I am the same age as MQ, was a great fan of hers, wore her dresses and had my hair cut at the new Vidal Sassoon Salon.
It was a different era.
