Lone Mangrove tree
I just love this lone mangrove tree growing in the Whananaki estuary, each time we walked the estuary I seemed to take it from another angle.

I can see that very long walking bridge in the background too! This is a big Mangrove tree but I understand they can grow to a height of 10 metres!

Nice focus and framing. Looks like the wind has bent it a bit.

A lovely composition, I wonder why others haven't grown up around it.

Beautiful shot and lovely composition. I love mangroves too. Such interesting shapes. Love how this is bent with the wind.

Beautifully composed. That is one big mangrove to be growing alone.

Great composition and perspective. I've never seen a mangrove alone - has it always been isolated, I wonder, or has some natural disaster washed away its companions.

Love the way this tree grows alone and stands out from the surrounding countryside

This makes a beautiful picture, but still looks a little odd as I am used to seeing Mangroves en masse
