Books appeared in many places throughout Istanbul, this absolute gem was on Istiklal Street, which was like many a High Street in a large European city, hence we didn't stay long there!
The trolley that runs along it was quite an experience, as pedestrians seem to not hear/ignore the approaching trolley until the very last moment requiring the driver to be exceptionally vigilant and to use the brakes prolifically!
The Syrian refugee kids amused themselves by chasing it and leaping onto the rear step which was rather dangerous but I could see their point!
