Went on a photo safari in southern Arizona this week. All the old west history happened down in that part of the state.
This was the train stop to transfer to a stagecoach for an eleven mile journey from Fairbank to Tombstone. Eventually the Tombstone silver mines shutdown and Fairbank became a ghost town. This is all that is left of the depot that thousands of people, including Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, used to seek their fortune.
On safari, I shot tons of textures to use. This one is pitted steel with a bit of rust. Using a macro lens helped me get the blur in the sky.
