Zilch opportunity to photo scout before leaving home. Ditto en route to Caen, which like most busy channel ports is hardly noted for uplifting photo opportunities.
Remembered the bronze horses on the Reception deck. These lovely creatures are sheltered under an open staircase with passenger boundaries to protect them. POV was more suited to obscure yoga positions than equine photography.
They're life size...and certainly worth the contortion.
