This road, leading to St Léry, is minimistically excellent. This copse consists of more than 200 trees...and If I hadn't had another car hooting behind me I would have been more precise. I expected this view to be sparse yet having its own fascination. I wasn't disappointed, especially with the articistic road repairs.

@tosee@wylieclicks Although R suggested a mono version too, I VML the starkness of this image, the curved patchwork and its tones and then as Tom says '...bang the green...'. It's this rising greensward that makes the shot work...for me.
As you note, I would have liked to have seen this in B&W... but what I like more is that you are developing a strong sense of what you like in an image.
fab composition! i might also have liked to see b&w as per richard's suggestion ... or maybe just a little more contrast and slightly lighter exposure? really love the leading lines and that patchwork road
