Chania was not amused when Patapont was loitering with intent in Her Lane. In addition to this visual Scary Cat Mode, she was uttering menacing Cat Growls...which were most effective in seeing Patapont skulk home...next door. This is not the end of the tale. Now we understand why her recent stay at the cattery predicated unwelcome behavior.

Far from it! Normally she goes out of holiday season when there are fewer cats, though this time it was a holiday w/e...i.e. many cats. She's used to being The Cat of three (2 next door) in our lane. When Guillaume, Cattery owner, informed me that she had been 'difficult' with the other cats...I saw the writing on the wall. He would prefer that she doesn't stay during periods when it's a full house. He's been very supportive and I know he wouldn't be saying this if it wasn't important. What lies ahead...who knows. Although another chat with G is a given.
We've acquired a cat and need to home her when we go away, not leaving home alone again with neighbour popping in again. She's wrecked curtains and become very needy!!! Any advice?
Neat shot of Chania being territorial...My niece and her family are fortunate that I take care of Luna in her own space while when they go on vacation(s). Luna gets very lonesome for her family but doesn't act out because she knows old Aunt Glo is around to amuse her.
Margo, Thank you for the challenge and it is my turn to apologize. Yesterday was busy for me too. Saturday, when I first glanced at your project, I saw your user ID picture and thought, "she looks familiar" -- then saw the word Paimpont and looked again at your last name. Of course! I have been following Richard and forgot you have a project on here as well. I just looked through your albums now. I have two alternative challenges for you:
1. I stuck my finger in a little dictionary that was Frank's grandmother's. My finger landed on the word "Caution." Use that as the theme for your photograph.
2. Forced perspective. Have you tried that? If not, have some fun with a composition that uses forced perspective.

How do those sound?
