I always thought these mushrooms only existed in fairy tales. So pretty!

I spent an afternoon recently searching for one of these to photograph but the forest was too dry... now there are all sorts including some blue ones. Some brave souls eat these for their hallucogenic properties but they have to be cooked for a long time to drive off the toxins - and it's still a precarious undertaking.
