If absence makes the heart grow fonder, I'm long overdue to post a shot of the Abbey. Generally, Mitzi and I pass here before 9am and perhaps in the afternoon too. As this morning scampered towards 11am, I found myself here. Good light, no wind...no brainer!
You're absolutely right...and I have done! Many from this path and thereabouts and also views and items inside the Abbey itself.
It sounds similar to me in my fascination with the almshouse of St Cross.
