Although I had some notions of a shot to depict Faith, yet when it came to realising such notions, all lacked calibre. Coming back from Ploërmel, I stopped at a small chapel, no longer in use and none of the obscure POVs available rendered any joy. O me miserum! Some kilomètres later I espied a small chapel in the corner of a field. Swift manœuvre to park, stood in field and took shots...as one does. As I moved around to find the best POV, I noticed there was a small, open gate leading to the chapel. Zooming with my feet, beyond the gate, the door into the chapel was open too. Here's what I saw. There's another window on the opposite wall, more lightgiving than this one, yet I prefer this contemplative aspect.
FYI There is seating for approx 20, some very old benches/pews, all different, and an interesting assortment of church ephemera. What struck me the most was that someone is opening, closing and tending this chapel on a regular basis. No information etc., yet Faith that this chapel will be found and valued. Amen.
