Locks at Hédé-Bazouges

Had a significant amount of 'stuff' that I took to Emmaus at Hédé this morning, which gave Mitzi and me good reason to take a turn along the canal. The lock keepers' houses are beautifully maintained, the trees have taken on their Autumn elegance whilst a sole (couldn’t resist that!) fisherman wasn’t having much luck. There are 11 locks here over 2 km.

The only sole the fisherman would catch would be one of a shoe? I see him on the lock. Lovely focus down this waterway and of course, great on the Black! fav
